There is a world of difference between the cultures of NASCAR in the United States and MotoGP Globally. NASCAR is primarily an oval car race series in the United States and MotoGP is Global in nature. According to Ampere Analysis, MotoGP is the second most popular series among motor sport fans right behind Formula One. In June of 2025 the world of motorsports saw a seismic shift when MotoGP and F1 merged.

I am an avid motorcycle fan and when America’s Trackhouse Racing entered MotoGP in 2024, I started watching them in NASCAR.

Justin Marks, the founder of Trackhouse Racing, has a Global Vision for his brand and being in MotoGP with Italy’s Aprilia puts him well on the path of becoming one and and when Trackhouse entered a Corvette in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona it told the world of motorsports that Trackhouse is “In The House”.

This is expected to be a breakout year for Trackhouse Aprilia are looking good and the NASCAR team added super rookie Connor Zilisch.

November 11, 2025

As the MotoGP season winds down with only one race left Trackhouse Racing will look back on a year filled with highs and lows and the fates were not kind to Raúl Fernández who suffered an injury in Portugal in practice and could not compete in the race. Ogura finished a in 7th. and the team is the third independent. From the high of winning his first MotoGP in the last race in Australia to not being on the grid for Portugal hurts. Here is a summary of the events where Trackhouse was missing at least one rider due to injury:

Event Missing RiderReason
British Grand PrixAi OguraPossible fracture of his right tibia.
Japanese Grand PrixAi OguraHand and wrist issues from Misano crash.
Portuguese Grand PrixRaul FernandezDislocated shoulder.

In addition, Trackhouse Racing’s Ai Ogura was also forced to withdraw during the Aragon Grand Prix weekend after his injury proved too severe. (lost races reportchatgpt)

October 19,2025 Australian Gran Prix

History was made today at the Australian Gran Prix when Trackhouse Racing won its first MotoGP race.

The Australian GP was missing some heavy hitters but that gave the field an opportunity and Aprilia did not let us down. With class Factory Rider Marco Bezzecchi finished 3rd. even after serving a two lap penalty and Trackhouse Racing’s Raúl Fernández won his first MotoGP making it a historic 1st. for Trackhouse.

September 1,2025 Coquitlam, BC, Canada 6:30am

There is no MotoGP this weekend and in Canada it is a long weekend thanks to our Union Brothers and Sisters who were responsible for the creation of Labour Day which is celebrated every September 1st which means, I get to watch Trackhouse on the Tely from Darlington Sunday afternoon. From a Trackhouse perspective the weekend started on a high with their contracted driver Conner Zilisch winning the NASCAR Xfinity race in Portland.

I watched Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup race from Darlington (TSN in Canada) In the Playoff Contenders #1 Ross Chastain drove a great race and for most of it he was in the Top 5 until he had to back of because of low fuel.
#88 SVG struggled most of the race and an unlucky caution late in the race dropped him back further. Up front it was tuck and go right to the end with Chase Briscoe followed by Tyler Reddick and Erik Jones making it a clean sweep for Toyota.

August 10, 2025 Watkins Glen, New York

Trackhouse were big winners at Watkins Glen this weekend. On Saturday in the Xfinity Series Conner Zilisch won and on Sunday SVG won the Cup race and Trackhouse had three cars in the Top Ten for the first time. A historic day for Trackhouse.

August 4, 2025

There are only two weeks left in MotoGP’s summer break and then we will see whether anyone can catch Marquez or whether the other manufactures can pressure Ducati dominance. I will be especially be watching Aprilia.

With no MotoGP this week I will be following Trackhouse Racing in NACAR at Indy and there was no better start to the weekend than Connor Zilisch winning the Xfinity race for JR Motorsports

July 5th and 6th 2025 Chicago Street Race

A clean sweep for the weekend Trackhouse and Shane van Gisbergen they won the Pole Position and the race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Chicago Street Course and the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday.

July 1st. 2025 Canada Day

For Trackhouse fans this week is huge it is the July 4th US holiday and the are in Chicago for a street race. It was this race last year that tuned me into what great talent Shane Van Gisbergen is and his teammate rookie Connor Zilisch won the NASCAR Xfinity Series in Mexico. In a novel approach Trackhouse Racing has merged the major sponsors themes into both cars.

June 26, 2025 Assen The Dutch TT 100 Years of Speed

My best friend Frankie Juhan’s dad raced in the 1947 Dutch GP

June 8th, Aragon Spain

The Aprilia Factory team and Trackhouse Racing managed to score points in Spain and overcame bad qualifying positions to fight into the points. Meanwhile in Michigan the Trackhouse NASCAR Cup team battled back to respectable finishes. Coming from 20th to 6th. in a Cup race is no small feat.

Trackhouse broke new ground again at the test in Aragon on June 9th by giving the Moto2 leader chance to ride a MotoGP bike. Genius!

June 8th. 2025. A Winding-Roads Point of view.

I try not to let the geopolitical situation that has our world in such turmoil impact my sports choices although as a Canadian I am deeply hurt by Donald Trump’s Trade War on Canada.

We feel we have been stabbed in the back by our best friend and Canadians are distancing themselves from the United States. Donald Trump has threatened our very sovereignty by saying we should be the 51st, and declared an economical war on us. It is Justin Marc’s support for talent from other countries that first drew me to supporting his efforts and at this time I will continue to support him in spirit not economically. Like most Canadians I will not visit the states until this Trade War and the bombast from the White House ends.

May 11. 2025 Le Mans France

In an absolutely incredible race that saw a crowd of over 100,000 fans brave the rain to cheer themselves hoarse when Frenchman Johan Zarko won for Honda , Trackhouse Racing were 7th. and 10th.

May 4, 2025

Trackhouse did well in NASCAR and when they find some more usable horsepower they have the talent to be consistently in the top Ten

There was no MotoGP this week so I got to watch NASCAR on the Tely from Texas..

March 31, 2025

All the Aprilia had big problems dealing with the tricky conditions in Texas. Trackhouse Rookie Ai Ogora managed to finish 9th coming from 18th. on the grid.

March 24, 2025

No MotoGP this week and the four wheel team was in Florida in the USA where they had a difficult weekend, They will be at a short track in Martinsville Virginia when MotoGP are in Texas for the US Gran Prix.

March 3, 2025

I watched Trackhouse back to back this weekend first Trackhouse Moto GP from Thailand then NASCAR from Texas. My vote for the best of Trackhouse on the weekend goes to Ai Ogura #79 (Japan) followed closely by SVG (New Zealand) then Connor Zilisch . (USA)

AI was fifth in Thailand a truly outstanding performance for a Rookie and SVG led the for much of the NASCAR race. It looked like his car had some trouble hooking up on the restarts he had to fight through traffic after every restart. I am still a bit out of water watching NASCAR but am starting to get into it.

February 26,2025

The NASCAR team is in Atlanta Georgia today and the MotoGP team are in Thailand for the opening round of the year at Chang International Circuit Grand Prix Feb, 28-March 3. The NACAR team will be in Texas at the Circuit of the Americas’ .

January 13.2025: Trackhouse entertainment took the opportunity when launching their new 2025 MotoGP colours to invite the 50 Million MotoGP social media viewers into the house. The presentation was at their headquarters in North Carolina in the United States and they had a NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet with their drivers on hand to help with the launch.

January 6, 2025 : Justin Marks does it again. Right on the heel the announcement that Trackhouse will be at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona one of the greatest legends in Indianapolis 500 history is coming to the Daytona 500 in 2025 with four-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves.

On Monday, January 6, Forbs reported that Castroneves got his wish, thanks to NASCAR Cup Series team owner Justin Marks and his Project91 team at Trackhouse. He will drive the No. 91 Wendy’s Chevrolet

December 15, 2024: Trackhouse Racing in a blockbuster announcement posted that the will be at the most prestigious sports car race in the America’s, the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.

November 24, 2024: The final race in MotoGP is done and a new champion is crowned then two days later they were back at it for the first 2025 shakedown where we got to see the shape of the grid for 2025. For Trackhouse this was a chance to see the 2024 Moto2 World Champion don their colours , was there to thank the team for their efforts in 2024 and to welcome the Japanese star into the house. A class move.

When you have a team principal in Davide Brivio who has built World Championship teams with Yamaha and Suzuki and has managed teams in F1 on your side Trackhouse Racing and Davide Brivio will expect Aprilia to up their game on the support side,

Justin Marks will want a return on the huge investment Trackhouse Entertainment is making in MotoGP and I have become a big fan and will be following this entertaining team.

November 10, 2024: There is no MotoGP this weekend the final race will be in Barcelona next week so I will be able to focus on NASCAR. Since Trackhouse entered MotoGP I have seen more races than ever and am starting to enjoy them.

It takes a bit to get used to the cars changing their key sponsors now and again and trying to get used to the bump and grind nature of the races that make it so unique. They seem to revel in what I would normally think is playing dirty for instance putting someone ahead into the wall with one lap to go can be ok.

Not in my book! That is not racing. It is a little bit better in MotoGP and Formula One but the first lap penalties need to be stronger in both. When multiple bikes or cars are taken out before the race even starts the big loser is the fans and the sponsors. What do you think?

I got to watch NASCAR from the comfort of my sofa on NBC Sports. Click on my Video and like it if you do and subscribe and share if you care.

October 27, 2025: Trackhouse Racing’s 2025 signing is crowned Moto2 World Champion in Thailand.

On October 20th. Trackhouse Racing was in Australia with MotoGP on two wheels and in Las Vegas Nevada with NASCAR Cup Series on four wheels.

Raúl Fernandez finished 6th in the MotoGP Sprint on Saturday and in the points in 10th. on Sunday, This was an amazing performance because he had to drag himself from a sickbed to compete.

As part of the NASCAR weekend there is a Truck Parade where the teams get to showcase the rigs that haul them around the country and in the NASCAR Cup Race in Las Vegas Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez

Trackhouse Racing Team trucks in Parade

Motorcycle Racing and Car Racing is not the only difference between NASCAR and MotoGP. A huge difference is the logistics of getting to the track. NASCAR uses trucks to get to the track and because MotoGP is global they use trucks and 4 Jumbo Jets. Logistically MotoGP like Formula One is much more challenging.

September 29, 2024: Trackhouse had another great weekend on four wheels with NASCAR at the Kansas Speedway.

On Saturday in the Infinity Series, Kaulig Racing faced some difficulties. Shane Van Gisbergen was at the wheel and they overcame the challenges. They managed to finish 8th. and when Ross Chastain won the Cup race on Sunday it was a big win for Trackhouse.

Meanwhile at the Indonesian Gran Prix the field struggled to stay with the dominants Ducati’s and Raúl Fernández finishing 10th on the Trackhouse Aprilia was also positive.

Justin Marks shares some of his vision on Trackkouse

Justin Marks the founder of Trackhouse Racing was in Austria for the MotoGP race and had to be disappointed with the on track performance. His riders both crashed into each other in the opening lap ruining what should have been a great weekend for Trackhouse as they did well in NASCAR.
