KTM were are on a precipice with the problems caused by the huge debt load that caused KTM to go into voluntary restructuring and has been nerve racking for us that follow racing. There is so much sensationalism in the digital press from death to miraculous rebirth that it is hard to shut it out. After months of speculation there is finally a defined path.

The KTM saga just seems to never end with the latest blow to the return of some stability for the beleaguered brand being a 25% tariff placed on India my Donald Trump of the USA. It is not just India Austria is going to face Trump Tariffs as well so it does not look like increased costs can be avoided. Only the most profitable models will survive this complication.

Great News today. KTM will survive. On the week of the MotoGP launch in Thailand KTM who were on the ropes were handed a lifeline by their creditors. Knowing that your sponsors will be around must be a great sense of relieve for The KTM MotoGP team.
