I enjoy Motocross, Trials, Endurance Racing and Road Racing and as the pinnacle of the sport MotoGP rocks and I was especially excited about the 2024 MotoGP season because there are so many stories to go along with the races and with over 500 million followers globally MotoGP gets more of by bandwidth.
I was be closely watching Trackhouse Racing and Aprilia because Trackhouse Racing brought a US team back to MotoGP and Aprilia is a competitive bike. Honda and Yamaha are increasing their efforts in MotoGP in 2024 in an effort to regain the dominance they had become used to. Since nine times World Champion Mike Hailwood raced for them I became used to seeing them on the podium.
Marc Marques switching from Honda to a Ducati opened some eyes as he was determined to show that even if his bike is a year behind the factory models he could still win having recovered from injuries that would have ended most athletes careers.

December 2, 2024: Here is my MotoGP wrap up for 2024 and I appreciate you clicking on my Videos 170,000 times and sharing when you care. MotoGP delivered in 2024 and right up until the final race in November it never failed to deliver quality entertainment.
Watching Marc Marquez prove he was still a contender after two years of rebuilding his body and his winning ways was pure box office. The Americans are back with Trackhouse Racing and this innovative group who are huge in NASCAR are fun to follow. Like this if you do and subscribe and share if you care.
November 24 2024: The 2025 pre-test in Barcelona gave us the first glance at way the grid will look like. For me the big ones were Marc Marquez on a Factory Ducati and 2024 World Champion Jorge Martin on Aprilia along with 2024 Moto2 World Champion Ai Ogura with Trackhouse Racing. The fasted of the day was Alex Marquez on his first ride on the 2024 Ducati he will ride next year, All three of the rookies crashed but the were not alone as the World Champion hit the deck as well. Yamaha were impressive and Honda are a mile away but making progress, Now the riders get a chance to recharge as the engineers start working overtime .

November 17th, 2024: The race for the championship ended today in Barcelona which stepped in due to the horrendous floods in Valencia where the season usually ends. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) is the new 2024 MotoGP™ World Champion! This post started February 19th, at tests Qatar and will end on Tuesday ay the test in Barcelona. My final post for the year will include that test.

November 3, 2024: Watching MotoGP from Malaysia was a trial for me and while the race was incredible my mind kept wondering to the pain and suffering being endured by Spain from the floods in Valencia, The final round of the series scheduled for Valencia has been canceled. MotoGP said” In lieu of racing in Valencia, MotoGP will instead race for Valencia,” MotoGP added. “The championship will put our collective efforts behind backing the relief funds already in place.” The race may be held in Barcelona.

The race in Sepang was riveting in spite of the pall being cast by the disasters in Spain and for me the first four laps had everything. On lap one there was crash that red flagged the race and there was huge apprehension about the health of Jack Miller who was involved it the melee. It was with a huge sigh of relief that the popular Australian was seen walking after leaving the medical centre.

Just to add to the tension in the Sprint race of Saturday Pecco crashed meaning he had to win or he was no longer #1.

Marc crashed and remounted to push on with a broken bike to gain enough points to stay 3rd in the championship.

October 27. 2024 at the Thailand GP .
On a wet and treacherous track even the best in the world had problems.

September 22, 2024 Misano . The dominance of Ducati keeps on rolling which makes Marques look brilliant with his leaving Honda, Even his 2023 edition of the bike is better than the competition,

The best racing over the weekend was Moto3 followed closely by Moto2.

Watching Trackhouse this weekend was hard because Aprilia is a step behind in MotoGP and the team had a tough weekend in NASCAR. Ross Chastain finished 10th in Bristol and Daniel Suárez made the cut in the NASCAR Cup Playoff Watch my video and like it if you do and subscribe if you care
September 8, 2024: Back to Back for Marc Marquez a new MotoE World Champion, a new leader in Moto2 and the usual mayhem in Moto3. A weekend of shakeups and drama In a part of Italy that just wants you to pack your bags. Please click on my video and like it if you do and subscribe and share if you care
September 1st. 2024: Aragon Spain, The Marques Brothers showed the two sides of racing in Aragon, pain and exctasy.

All the riders in Moto2 ride Triumph powered machines. The engines are built in England in Hinckley. Two ensure equality to all the teams the engines are chosen by lottery and are tested to ensure they are within 1% of each other.
Moto3 is just plain fun to watch and the reason is the evenness of the field, The rules for the 250 cc engines give all the teams the same starting point.
August 11, 2028: The British GP at Silverstone was a blend of great racing and a history lesson. I enjoyed both. Click on my video and like it if you do and subscribe and share if you care.
July 28. 2024: It takes buckets of cash to run in NASCAR and MotoGP and for Justin Marks at Trackhouse Racing it just got a bit easier to reach his his goals with an investment from a global fund. Well done Trackhouse.
Mr. Marks says”From the day of Trackhouse’s inception, it has been a central goal to build a valuable, diverse, and global motorsports platform. Partnering with Avenue is a monumental step forward in continuing to develop and execute that vision. “

The American Trackhouse Racing MotoGP team owned by Justin Marks is better known in North America in NASCAR. Here he has brought in International talent like former F1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and Shane Van Gisbergen the Kiwi Supercars Champion.
Justin Marks innovative thinking is taking Trackhouse Racing to new audiences and the are a positive influence in both MotoGP and NASCAR.

HRC and Joan Mir agree to contract renewal
Honda Racing Corporation has agreed to a two-year contract extension with Joan Mir to ride for the Factory Team in the MotoGP World Championship.
Joan Mir made his full-time debut in Moto3 class in 2016, winning 10 races and earning his first World Championship the following year. He was promoted to the Moto2 class in 2018 and made the step to the premier class, MotoGP, in 2019 before going on to be crowned World Champion in 2020.
For the 2025 season, Joan Mir and Luca Marini will continue to compete together. In addition to Stefan Bradl, Aleix Espargaro will join as test riders supporting machine development.

The summer break has been anything but dull with major shifts in riders for 2025 as I said back in February Trackhouse Racing would be worth watching. They will be getting an upgrade from Aprilia for Fernandez who they just resigned for 2025 and 2026.

The German Gran Prix had a couple of historic firsts, the Marquez Brothers shared the podium and both Trackhouse Racing Riders qualified on the front row. Marc came from 13th. to second and was pure “box Office”

Francesco Bagnaia won for the fourth time in a row when Jorge Martin crashed while leading with 2 laps to go one again proving that old adage “you have to finish to win”.

MotoGP in Assen was a case of the best bike and the best rider showing dominance. No other brand was even close and the lap times were insane. A second a lap over last year. Ducati and Francesco Bagnaia were brilliant.

It is June 23rd. and just a week away from MotoGP’s second half starting in Assen. The silly season is in full swing with the 2025 Rider signings shaking things up. Watching what happens of the track is as much fun as I have had in a long time. It is a crazy time in MotoGP.

After the Roller Coaster racer we have had in the first six rounds the Italian GP in Magello it was more like a chess match. Brilliant but difficult to watch. It was a strategic masterpiece. As usual Moto2 and Moto3 were brilliant with the American Robert winning enhancing a possibility of his moving up to motoGP next year. Can you spell Trackhouse Racing. You never know who will win in moto3 until the finish line it is that tight.

Ok! this is just getting ridiculous, after seeing an unbelievable race in LeMan it seemed impossible that it could get any better but Catalunya came close. The same three were on the podium in a different order, Local hero Aleix Espargaró announced his retirement and , set a new lap record on his Aprilia, won the Sprint on Saturday and was 4th. in the race. Trackhouse racing had its best weekend and Marc Marquez was just unbelievable coming from 14th on the grid to finish 3rd.

As usual Moto2 and Moto3 put on a great show and I never get tired of watching the slipstream games in Moto3. Right up until the last lap anyone of ten riders could win in Moto3.

Just when you thought you has seen it all in Spain the next stop is the incredible spectacle of LeMans. A record crowd of over 297 thousand fans passed through the turnstiles over the weekend and were treated to superb racing in all three classes. MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
The star of the weekend and Box Office Magic was Sundays Race that featured three absolutely stunning performances from Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.

In LeMans both Honda and Yamaha continue to struggle to match the pace of their European rivals Ducati, Aprilia and KTM and the heroic efforts that their riders produced. As a long time fan of Honda, I know that they hurt.
Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) in Sakura, Japan, and Honda Performance Development (HPD) in Santa Clarita, CA, have become Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US). With this change, HRC US will play an integral role in Honda’s global motorsports activities, which includes contributing to the company’s Formula One (F1) program.
Collaborating as one global HRC entity, the two independent racing arms of Honda will combine their expertise and resources to strengthen Honda’s overall motorsports capabilities.

Spain had everything and I will watch the race again once I come to grips with what it means for the rest on the year.

Great racing and a blockbuster announcement that MotoGP and Formula One are joining forces. Amazing!

We are in Texas this week and if Friday practice was a prelude America is in for a treat.

Portugal was unbelievable across all three classes. Moto3 is always close, Moto2 saw a rider who had been second on many occasions finally reach the top step and an American finish second just in time for the next race in Texas. In MotoGP there was drama, heartache and a great winner. Just when you think you know what is going on with two laps to go everything changed and the rookie goes from 6th to second. MotoGP is box office sports entertainment and the crowds were up over 40% saw a classic.

When a top ten gets you a standing ovation you know you are popular.

Trackhouse Racing had a disanointing weekend in both Nascar and MotoGP. In Nacar, Kimi Raikkonen lost third gear and Chastain dropped to 7th after he had to pit while in second place and in MotoGP the Aprilia were of the pace and they were lucky to finish in the points. They are on home turf when the paddock heads stateside next week.

MotoGP is in Portugal this week. Portuguese is the official language of several independent countries and regions: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Guinea Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, & São Tomé and Príncipe. Portuguese is the ninth most spoken language on the globe.

MotoGP Race Day did not disappoint. There was everything you could ask for and some disasters that will hurt. KTM must be ecstatic with Binder and Acosta and Ducati the same with Bagnalia and Martin. The wheels fell of the Aprilia and Trackhouse efforts and to say Honda and Yamaha have a ways to go is and understatement.
Marc Marquez was box office and you know he will get better and Alex was not far behind
I would love to be a fly on the wall when Davide Brivio addresses what went wrong at Trackhouse.

March 9th. 2024 5:55am PST: The qualifying for the first race of the year is always a nail biter. As a racer you want to prove you belong and as a team your hopes and expectations become more clear. It is not a race but it does paint a vivid picture. Getting up early to watch motoPG is always worth it for me. I try not to post this on my facebook page to early in the day as it could ruin it for someone who wants to watch it without knowing the results.

February 27, 2024
In my first post for 2024 I mentioned I would be watching closely what Trackhouse Racing brought to MotoGP and I did not have to wait very long. Before the season even begins in a blockbuster move Trackhouse have signed Davide Brivio one of the most prestigious names in MotoGP .Justin Marks has hit a home run by naming him Team Principal. Aprilia must be ecstatic to have the man who has won two Constructors Championships managing an Aprilia satellite team. Please click on the video and like it if you do and subscribe if you care.

February 19 2024:Day one in Qatar is done, A dirty track and windy for most of the day and the fast times were all set later in the day as the sun set. The conditions tomorrow should be better and the teams will have a better sense of where the need to concentrate. It is not just the bikes and riders but these tests help all the members learn their rolls better For instance a software engineer must learn track-speak..

With new bio-fuels being used in MotoGP the technical challenges become an engineers dream. Fast and Clean have not been synonymous with racing until recently. The MotoE class will lead the world in Fast and Clean.
This Post will grow as the season unfolds
