As an avid race fan my bandwidth is challenged because of my varied two wheeled interests. I love Motocross, Trials, Endurance Racing and Road Racing. I am especially excited about the 2024 MotoGP season because of the depth and quality of the grid. I will be closely watching Trackhouse Racing and Aprilla. Having been a loyal Honda fan since one of favorite riders World Champion Mike Hailwood joined them. Honda and Yamaha are increasing their efforts in MotoGP in 2024 in an effort to regain the dominance they had become used to so I am pumped.

Spain had everything and I will watch the race again once I come to grips with what it means for the rest on the year.

Great racing and a blockbuster announcement that MotoGP and Formula One are joining forces. Amazing!

We are in Texas this week and if Friday practice was a prelude America is in for a treat.

Portugal was unbelievable across all three classes. Moto3 is always close, Moto2 saw a rider who had been second on many occasions finally reach the top step and an American finish second just in time for the next race in Texas. In MotoGP there was drama, heartache and a great winner. Just when you think you know what is going on with two laps to go everything changed and the rookie goes from 6th to second. MotoGP is box office sports entertainment and the crowds were up over 40% saw a classic.

When a top ten gets you a standing ovation you know you are popular.

Trackhouse Racing had a disanointing weekend in both Nascar and MotoGP. In Nacar, Kimi Raikkonen lost third gear and Chastain dropped to 7th after he had to pit while in second place and in MotoGP the Aprilia were of the pace and they were lucky to finish in the points. They are on home turf when the paddock heads stateside next week.

MotoGP is in Portugal this week. Portuguese is the official language of several independent countries and regions: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Guinea Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, & São Tomé and Príncipe. Portuguese is the ninth most spoken language on the globe.

MotoGP Race Day did not disappoint. There was everything you could ask for and some disasters that will hurt. KTM must be ecstatic with Binder and Acosta and Ducati the same with Bagnalia and Martin. The wheels fell of the Aprilia and Trackhouse efforts and to say Honda and Yamaha have a ways to go is and understatement.

Marc Marquez was box office and you know he will get better and Alex was not far behind

I would love to be a fly on the wall when Davide Brivio addresses what went wrong at Trackhouse.

March 9th. 2024 5:55am PST: The qualifying for the first race of the year is always a nail biter. As a racer you want to prove you belong and as a team your hopes and expectations become more clear. It is not a race but it does paint a vivid picture. Getting up early to watch motoPG is always worth it for me. I try not to post this on my facebook page to early in the day as it could ruin it for someone who wants to watch it without knowing the results.

In my first post for 2024 I mentioned I would be watching closely what Trackhouse Racing brought to MotoGP and I did not have to wait very long. Before the season even begins in a blockbuster move Trackhouse have signed Davide Brivio one of the most prestigious names in MotoGP .Justin Marks has hit a home run by naming him Team Principal. Aprilia must be ecstatic to have the man who has won two Constructors Championships managing an Aprilia satellite team. Please click on the video and like it if you do and subscribe if you care.

Day one in Qatar is done, A dirty track and windy for most of the day and the fast times were all set later in the day as the sun set. The conditions tomorrow should be better and the teams will have a better sense of where the need to concentrate. It is not just the bikes and riders but these tests help all the members learn their rolls better For instance a software engineer must learn track-speak..

With new bio-fuels being used in MotoGP the technical challenges become an engineers dream. Fast and Clean have not been synonymous with racing until recently. The MotoE class will lead the world in Fast and Clean.

This Post will grow as the season unfolds
