And then it turned into an amazing adventure: Miraculously transported in the back of a pickup truck to Whitehorse, given a job in exchange for meals and lodging, her motorcycle hooked up with a competent mechanic, and gifted a bike to use while hers was being repaired

Sometimes the detour is actually the road you were meant to be on.
